    Aunt Saunny

    6-8 servings
    1 baked pie shell
    3 tbsp. butter
    1 tbsp. cornstarch
    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    2 cups ham (diced)
    1 lb. hot cooked asparagus
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

    Make cream sauce out of butter, cornstarch, milk and mayonnaise. Add
    ham and beat 5 minutes. Arrange half of hot asparagus in pastry
    shell. Add half of the ham mixture. Add remaining asparagus, then
    remaining ham. Top with cheese. Broil 3" from heat until brown.
    Serve immediately.
