    "Nana" to Bubbe & Alex

    1 large can (28 ounces) baked beans
    1/2 cup cooked shredded red cabbage, drained
    1/4 cup beer or apple juice
    1 tablespoon prepared mustard
    1 teaspoon caraway seed
    4 knockwurst

    Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except knockwurst. Turn bean mixture into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Brush knockwurst with a little mustard, if desired, and place over the
    beans. Bake for 25 minutes. Beans and knockwurst recipe serves 4.
