GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE WITH RED BELL PEPPE

1 pound green beans
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. butter
10.75 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup half and half
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 cup sliced red bell pepper
2 tbs. bread crumbs
1 tbs. grated Parmesan cheese
Heat oven to 35O degrees. Microwave green bean 6 min. Saute onion in butter 3 min. Add mushroom soup, half and half, and thyme. Remove from heat, add green beans and red bell pepper. Place in greased 1 1/2 quart dish. Top with bread
crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Bake 20 min. Place in serving bowl. MAKES 4 SERVINGS.*
