    One of the recipes most asked for by guests asan appetizer in the big, rustic dining room over-looking a spectacular view of the Grand Canyon.A delicious Guacamole Salad is preparedin a slight variation of this recipe by Chef JohnFrenden at the Alvarado hotel in Albuquerque.

    List of Ingredients

    1 Avocado, mashed
    1 Tomato, finely diced
    1/2 Cup Cottage cheese / Cream cheese
    2 Tablespoons chopped Green Onions
    1 Tablespoon Lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon chopped chives
    1/2 teaspoon Salt
    Dash Black pepper
    Dash Worcestershire sauce


    Combine ingredients. Chill.

    Serve on lettuce leaf with small chilled Tomato wedge, or serve as a dunk mixture.

    Makes 6 servings, Yields 2 2/3 Cups.
