    for Hawaiian Chicken or Kensington Club Steaks


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 C. soy sauce
    • 1/2 C. red wine vinegar
    • 1 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1 C. sherry cooking wine
    • 3/4 C. sugar
    • 3 C. unsweetened pineapple juice


    Instructions


    1. Blend everything well, and pour over the meat to be marrinated (in a plastic container), covering everything.


    2. Remember to move everything around at least every 12 hours

      Marrinate chicken at least 24 - 48 hours.

      Marrinate steaks 48 - 72 hours.

      Let meat marinate closer to the longer periods of time for best results.

      Grill.

      For the chickenn, bonless breast (with the skin on) were used, but they are difficult to find at times. Also, just before chicken is done, toss a pineapple ring on the grill & grill on both sides - served with Rice Pilaf. They also served it as a chicken sandwich, on a toasted Onion Roll, with a leaf of Romaine lettuce, a slice of tomato & a slice of red onion .. with Catalina French Dressing to dip it in - YUM!
