Recipe Introduction


Reuben's was a neat New York City restuarant that made the "Reuben Sandwich" famous. They had alot of celebrity diners, including Sinata who had a sandwich named for him as well.


List of Ingredients




1/4 Cup Mayonannaise or cooked salad dressing
2 TBSP Chili Sauce
1 tsp grated onion
1 tsp lemon juice
1 Cup Shredded Cabbage
4 Slices of Rye Bread
2 slices Turkey
2 slices Baked Ham
2 slices Swiss cheese


Recipe



1. In a small bowl , combine the mayonnaise, chili sauce, onion and lemon juice; mix well. Add Cabbage; toss to coat cabbage well. Refrigerate until well chilled.
2. For each sandwich: one 1 slice of rye bread, layer 1 turkey slice, top with half drained coleslaw, then with 1 slice of ham (folded oer) and 1 slice cheese (folded over). Place rye bread slice on top.

Makes 2 sandwiches.
