Another pasta with sausage, still yummy
List of Ingredients
1 lb. sweet sausage
1 med onion chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1/4 c chopped italian parsley
1/4 c grated cheese
1 lb. lg. pasta shellsRecipe
Remove casing from sausage and break up. Brown sausage in deep skillet. Add onion and garlic and cook 5 minutes until onion is tender. Reduce heat, add tomatoes and heavy cream. Cook 1 1/2 hours with cover partially on.
Prepare pasta as package directs. Pour sausage sauce over cooked pasta. Toss with grated cheese and parsley (if desired). Serve with Italian bread and a large salad.
