    I had to add this to our cookbook. What good would a family cookbook be without at least one good chocolate recipe.


    List of Ingredients


    • one 19.8 ounce pkg brownie mix
    • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate
    • 1/4 cup stong black brewed coffee
    • 2 eggs, seperated
    • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur
    • 3 tblsp sugar
    • 1.4 cup heavy cream
    • Glaze
    • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate
    • 3 tblsp strong black brewed coffee


    Instructions


    1. prepare brownie batter according to directions on box.
    2. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
    3. Bake according to instructions on box
    4. When cool, cut into squares and remove from pan.
    5. Clean pan thoroughly and grease once more.
    6. Place borwnies back in greased pan
    7. Combine chocolate and coffee in top of double boiler, and melt over boiling water. Remove from heat.
    8. Beat egg yolks and strir in small amount of chocolate mixture, pour mixture into balance of chocolate mixture, stir until smooth.
    9. Stir in liqueur and set aside to cool
    10. Beat egg whites until foamy gradually add sugar and beat until stiff
    11. WHip cream until stiff
    12. Fold cream into chocolate mixtrue fold in egg whites
    13. Pour filling over browniies
    14. Cover with plastic wrap and chill 3 to 4 hours until firm
    15. Invert onto serving platter and drizzle on glaze
    16. Letr set and decorate with chocolate curls
    17. Glaze combine chocolate and coffee in double boiler
    18. Heat until melted
    19. Stir well
