    Black-Eyed Peas Dip

    4 (16-oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained
    5 pickled jalapenos, chopped
    1 tablespoon pickled jalapeno juice
    ½ medium onion, chopped
    1 (4-oz.) can green chilies, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    ½ pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    ½ pound butter
    Preparation
    Blend the first six ingredients in a blender.
    Heat cheese and butter in the microwave until melted.
    Stir in black-eyed pea mixture and pour into a serving dish.
    Serve hot with tortilla chips.
