    Steak Ums

    List of Ingredients

1 box Steak'um (or any other brand of thin sliced steak)
    1 bell pepper
1/2 onion (prefer white, but red OK)
    1 tbsp butter
    1/2 c water
    salt/pepper
Several slices of soft white cheese (mozzarella, provolone, parmesan)
    Hoagie Buns
    Mayo

Slice the bell pepper and an equal amount of onions into strips. Put
in a skillet with butter and water. Cover and steam over low heat
until the water is gone. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Crumble steak into skillet. Turn the heat up to medium, and with a
spatula, starting from the edges, start turning the mixture in to the
middle. Use the edge of the spatula to chop up the mixture. Continue
doing this until the all of the beef is done (about 5 minutes). Drain
off whatever juice has accumulated into the bottom of the skillet.
Continue doing the spatula flip and chop for another 5 minutes, until
the mixture becomes somewhat cohesive. Turn off the heat, and layer
the cheese over the top. Cover the skillet and let stand until the
cheese is melted. Give the entire mix a couple of more flip and
chops, then let stand. Split your buns and toast them (toasting is
optional). Spread with mayo, then spoon in mixture. If you are have
small children or a party, this also works well to spoon into split
    dinner rolls.
