    Peanut Butter Brownies

    Source of Recipe

    Betty Crocker

    Recipe Introduction

Brownies won’t get any better than this peanut butter and chocolate combo frosted with even more peanut butter. Yum

    List of Ingredients

1 package Betty Crocker® Original Supreme brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch)
    1/4 cup water
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    2 to 3 eggs
    1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
    1 egg
Peanut Butter Frosting, if desired (below)

    1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease (or use cooking spray) bottom only of 13x9-inch rectangular pan. Stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup, water, oil and 2 eggs for fudgelike brownies (or 3 eggs for cakelike brownies) in medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan.
    2. Stir together brown sugar, peanut butter and egg. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto batter. Cut through batter several times with knife for marbled design.
    3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Frost with Peanut Butter Frosting. For 32 brownies, cut into 8 rows by 4 rows. Store tightly covered.
