    Strawberry Cake

    From the Kitchen of Sherry Spencer - Wichita Falls, Texas 1958

    List of Ingredients


    1 White Cake Mix (Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe)
    16 Oz. Frozen Strawberries, Thawed
    (Reserve 1/2 Cup Strawberries with Juice for Frosting)
    4 Eggs
    3/4 Cup Salad Oil
    1/2 Cup Water
    3 Tbsp. Flour
    I Large Box of Strawberry Jello

    FROSTING:
    1 Lb. Powdered Sugar
    1 Stick of Margarine
    1/2 Cup Frozen Strawberries with Juice, Thawed
    (Let strawberries thaw while cake bakes)


    Recipe

    Mix cake ingredients with mixer until smooth and blended. Pour Into greased and floured 13" x 9" pan; bake at 350 deg. for 40 minutes.

    FROSTING: Beat Ingredients with mixer: spread on cooled cake. Refrigerate.
