    Traditional Pumpkin Pie

    9 inch unbaked pastry/pie shell
    2 cups pumpkin (1 16oz can)
    1 can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (14oz can)
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon salt

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except pastry shell; mix
    well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 15 minutes on 425 degrees.



    Reduce oven temp to 350 degrees, continue baking 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Cool. Garnish with cool whip or as desired. Refrigerate leftovers. This recipe makes a really good pumpkin pie.
