2 pounds white fish fillets, such as cod, flounder or halibut
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 bay leaves
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup of white wine or water mixed with a little herb vinegar
paprika to season
lemon wedges to garnish
