    Super Duper PB Chocolate Chip Cookies

    2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 cup unsalted butter -- softened
    1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    2/3 cup granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1 cup toasted chopped walnuts
    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    1 cup Rice Krispies®

    Adjust the rack to the lower third of the oven; preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt onto a sheet of waxed paper.

    Using an electric mixer on low speed, cream the butter, peanut butter and both sugars just until thoroughly blended. Mix in the eggs and vanilla until well combined. Blend in the dry ingredients, then the walnuts and chocolate chips. Lightly stir in the Rice Krispies by hand (be careful not to crush the cereal.)

    Drop rounded tablespoon of batter about 2 inches apart onto the baking sheets. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until cookies are golden.

    Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
