Garlic & Herb Shrimp Crostini
2 cans (4oz.each) Chicken of the sea shrimp, drained
1/4 t. dried basil or dill weed
1 pkg. (8oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. olive oil
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 french bread baguette
Combine olive oil and garlic.
slice bread into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices.
Place on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil mixture.
Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
(actual baking time varies depending on the type of bread used.)
toss shrimp with basil or dill weed.
Spread crostini with cream cheese; top with shrimp.
Makes about 36 appetizers.
NOTE: If desired, crostini may be heated at 400 degrees for 5 minutes after
topping with cheese and shrimp. Serve Warm.
