    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup sugar
    1 stick butter
    1-1/2 t. vanilla extract
    1 egg beaten
    1 cup flour, sifted
    1/4 c. red colored sugar
    1/3 c. green colored sugar
    1 t. cinnamon
    1 c. pecans, chopped

    Recipe



    Grease well a large, shallow baking dish.
    Mix together sugar and butter until creamy.
    Add the vanilla and the egg, then gradually add the flour.
    Spread the mixture in the pan.
    Combine the colored sugars and cinnamon and press lightly
    over batter.
    Sprinkle nuts on top, pressing down lightly
    Bake in a preheated 350 deg oven for 30 minutes.
    Cut in small squares and serve warm.
    Makes about 16 squares.
