Lavender Cookies
LAVENDER COOKIES
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
2-2/3 cup flour
4 T. fresh lavender blossoms
or any fresh sweet herb of your choice.
Beat sugar and margarine until fluffy.
Add flour, mixing thoroughly.
Add herbs and blend well.
Roll dough 1/4 inch thick on floured board and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 8-10 minutes. At 425 degrees.
Makes 2 -1/2 doz.
