    Easy Pork Chops and Gravy

    Easy Pork Chops and Gravy

This is a very hard recipe to write because we all need different amounts of meat for our different size families.
I happen to have a large family so the key is to make this by the number of chops needed.

Start with the number of chops you need for your family.
Then take a plate and put flour on it for coating chops.
Mix in some garlic powder, salt, pepper, I add oregano myself.

Step 1. Heat a large fry pan that has a lid, and add 2 T. oil. Get it nice and hot to brown your meat.

Step 2. Coat your chops with flour

Step 3. Brown the chops in the hot oil on both sides.
When browned remove from pan and set on dish until all chops have been browned.

Step 4. Place all the chops back into the pan. Add mushrooms, onions, peppers, anything you like for flavor.

Step 5. Now add enough water to just barely cover the chops. Simmer for about 45 minutes. The chops are so tender and this makes its own gravy.

Serve with mashed potatoes or noodles along with a salad, bread, and a nice vegetable. Yummy!
