    Pecan Rolls

    Scald 2 c. milk. Add 1/2 c. sugar, 1 t. salt & 1/2 butter.
    Cool to lukewarm.

    Soften 1 oz. yeast(or 1 pkg dry yeast) in 1/4 c. warm water. add to first mixture.

    Add 1 beaten egg and 5 1/2 c. flour. Blend it well and let rise 2 1/2 hours or until double in bulk.

    Divide dough into 3 parts. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Spread with melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up like a jelly roll. Cut into 2" pieces.

    Grease sides of muffin pans. Put 1 t. each of melted butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup into each cup. Sprinkle with pecans or sliced almonds. Place 2" slice of dough on top. Let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.

    Rolls can be baked in 3 9' cake pans using 4 T. melted butter, 8 T brown sugar, and 6 T maple syrup in each pan. Raise then bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Yummy!!!!
