List of Ingredients
2 1/2 cup warm water
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons oat bran
4 tablespoons Splenda
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
few drops almond extract and butter extract (optional, but wonderful)
Recipe
Whisk all and let rise in warm place 30 minutes. Bake in heated waffle iron. Any leftover batter lasts up to a week! We love this! Serve with sugar free syrup.

* Deb’s notes ~ I added only 1 cup water and 1 cup skim milk, with 1/2 cup Vanilla DaVinci syrup. Next time I’ll try all skim milk (no DV syrup), but will increase amount of Splenda. I used 2 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour (2c. was not enough).
Deb's notes ~ These are not exactly “flavor packed” but we enjoyed them. Next time I may try adding some cooked oatmeal and see how that does... I used butter flavoring (imitation - Kroger brand)
