    Recipe Introduction

Level 1 ~ Pro/Fat ~ This is one of my husband's favorite Somersize recipes! When we're craving pizza ~ this is what I make. As usual - my tweaks are at the very end.

    List of Ingredients

Take 1/2 lb of ground beef, cooked and drained. Line the bottom of a 9" x 13" cake pan with the hamburger. Spread evenly.A dd chopped onions, chopped green and red peppers.
Pour Suzanne’s Marinara Sauce over meat, until just covered.
Add layer of cheddar and mozzarella cheese combined. Add pepperoni and mushrooms. Spread another layer of cheese and sprinkle with grated parmesan. Bake in oven at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
Let rest 10 minutes, cut and serve.

    Recipe

The beauty of this is you can add or take out your own personal favorite toppings. I make 2 trays at a time, as my family loves it and if I want leftovers I need the extra tray. It freezes well and reheats great. Enjoy!!!

    * Deb’s notes: I use 1 pound of hamburger and that fills the bottom of a 9" x 13” pan. I brown it up adding Italian Seasonings to the hamburger while browning. I like to lightly saute sliced mushrooms and onions after removing the hamburger. I use one jar of Ragu Pizza Sauce. I then to cover the pan lightly with aluminum foil so the mozzarella doesn’t get too brown.

For another taste blast - in addition to the mozzarella cheese, you can add 1 to 2 cups of the Italian Cheese Blend. This will be hanging with all the other preshredded cheeses in the refrigerated section. Typically it will include finely shredded Parmesan, Asiago, Mozzarella, etc. Oh, it's such a good addition!!

To make it smell even better - I like to give it a sprinkling of dried oregano once it's all put together before popping it into the oven.

Leftovers are great heated in the microwave.
