Recipe Introduction
Level 1 ~ Pro/Fat & Veggie -- This dish had an excellent flavor. My husband just loved it. My notes are at the end.

List of Ingredients
4-5 pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
Olive oil
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
Sweetener equal to 3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 small onion, thinly sliced
Recipe
Put the oil in a skillet and brown the chops in the oil.
While the chops are browning, mix the vinegar, sweetener and soy sauce. Once the chops are browned, pour the mixture over the chops . Scatter the onion on top. Cover and turn to low. Let chops simmer, turning occasionally, for 45 minutes or until the pan is almost dry. Serve the chops with the onions and the pan liquid.
Deb's notes: I sliced up a pork loin that I buy in a 3 pack at Costco. Next time I will use a fattier cut of pork, loin is extremely lean.
I doubled the sauce as we like a lot of sauce! When I doubled it, I increased items a bit. I used 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1 large sweet onion.
Next time, I'm going to try using 1/2 apple cider vinegar and 1/2 balsamic vinegar and see what that tastes like. I'll take the lid off at the end and let the vinegar thicken. What a great flavor this had!
