    Punch: Milk Punch

    Source of Recipe

Laura Zapalowski, Cooking Light, DECEMBER 2007

    Recipe Introduction

Go completely old-fashioned and polish your silver punch bowl for this outstanding bourbon and ice-cream libation. Your grandparents would be proud. This old-fashioned drink is reminiscent of decadent egg custard. You can easily double or triple the speedy recipe to serve a bigger crowd.

    List of Ingredients

    8 cups 98% fat-free vanilla ice cream
    3/4 cup bourbon
    4 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
    4 teaspoons bittersweet chocolate, grated

    Recipe

Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender; process just until smooth. Pour 1/2 cup ice cream mixture into each of 12 glasses; sprinkle each serving with about 1/4 teaspoon chocolate. Serve immediately.

    SERVES 12
