Sweet: Applesauce Bread

List of Ingredients

1 cup sugar

1 cup applesauce

1/3 cup oil

2 eggs

3 tablespoons milk

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

3/4 cup pecans, chopped

TOPPING:

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup pecans, chopped




Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except the topping ingredients. Mix well. Pour batter into 2 greased loaf pans. In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients. Sprinkle on top of loaves and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, until toothpick put in middle comes out clean.

YIELD: 2 Loaves
