    Coffeecake: Blueberry and Cream Cheese Coffeecake

    List of Ingredients

    ---Cake:

    1/2 c butter, room temperature
    1 1/4 c sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    3/4 c milk
    1/4 c water
    2 c fresh blueberries
    8 oz pkg cream cheese

    ---Topping:

    2 tbsp butter, room temp
    1/2 c sugar
    1/2 c flour
    2 tbsp lemon zest

    Recipe

    Preheat to 375. Grease a 9 inch square baking pan.
    Beat butter at medium speed until creamy.
    Add sugar and mix well.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Combine milk and water.
    Alternately add flour mixture and milk mixture, mixing well after each addition.
    Cut cream cheese into 1/4 inch cubes.
    Gently fold blueberries and cream cheese into batter.
    Pour into prepared baking dish.

    Combine all topping ingredients and mix with a fork until very fine crumbs.
    Sprinkle over cake batter.
    Bake for 55 minutes at 375 or until top is golden.
    Serve warm or cool completely on wire rack.

    16 servings.
