Pie: Jimmy Dean's Country Breakfast Pie

List of Ingredients



1 (16-ounce) pkg. Jimmy Dean roll sausage
1 (9-inch) pie shell, ready-made or from scratch
1-1/2 cups grated Swiss cheese
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
2 Tbsp chopped onions

1 cup light cream



Recipe



Preheat the oven to 375 degrees (F). Cook sausage until done. Crumble, then drain.


Prepare pie shell. Mix cheese and sausage. Sprinkle in shell. Lightly beat eggs in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and add to the egg mixture. Pour into shell.


Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool on a rack for 10 minutes.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
