Bars: Caramel Orange Crispy Rice Treats

1 cup sugar
Water to cover
3 1/2 cups crispy rice
Grated orange rind from 1 orange
Recipe
Place sugar in a saucepan and add enough water to cover.
Cook until golden amber in color.
Stir in the crispy rice and grated orange rind.
Pour into greased 8 by 8-inch pan and press lightly to pack down.
Cool and cut into bars and serve.
YIELD: 16 Bars
