Bars: Chewy Pecan Pie Bars

List of Ingredients



• 1/4 cup butter, melted
  
• 2 cups packed brown sugar
  
• 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  
• 4 eggs
  
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  
• 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  
• 1/4 tsp. salt
  
• 2 cups chopped pecans
  
• Confectioner's sugar
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
   
   
2. Pour butter into 1 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, flour eggs, vanilla, baking soda and salt; mix well.
   
   
3. Stir in pecans. Spread over butter.
   
   
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
   
   
5. Remove from the oven; immediately dust with confectioner's sugar.
   
   
6. Cool before cuttinmg
   
   
7. YIELD: Anout 2 dozen bars
