    "Stunning Debbe Dunning (Home Improvement) does little to maintain her famous 110-pound frame. "I'm not a gym girl," she confesses, "I just don't enjoy it." Though rigorous workouts aren't part of her routine, good nutrition always is. "There's very little sugar in my house," says Dunning. "I love to make cookies and cakes, but I never eat them. I try to have fresh fish at least two or three times a week, and I think greens are very important. My philosophy is simple: If you think it's healthy and it looks healthy, then eat it."

    List of Ingredients




    3 cups romaine lettuce 750 mL
    1/2 cup red cabbage, shredded 125 mL
    1/2 cup prepared tabbouleh salad 125 mL
    1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled 50 mL
    1 avacado, diced
    2 Roma tomatoes, diced
    1/4 cup carrots, grated 50 mL
    1/2 cup walnuts, chopped 125 mL
    1/4 cup green onions, chopped 50 mL
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped 25 mL
    1/2 cup tuna 125 mL

    Dressing:
    1 cup hummus 250 mL
    1/4 cup lemon juice 50 mL
    1/2 tsp. salt 2 mL
    1 tsp. pepper 5 mL
    dash of paprika

    Recipe



    Wash romaine lettuce well and tear into bite-sized pieces. Toss with remaining salad ingredients. Combine dressing ingredients in a screw-top jar and shake well. Pour dressing over salad.

    Per serving: 506 calories, 22 g protein, 32 g fat, 38 g carbohydrate.

    Serves 4 adults.
