    Forrest Gump's Favorite Chocolate Recipes Cookbook"(Oxmoor House 1995)

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 C Butter or margarine
    3/4 C Cocoa
    1 14 oz. Can sweetened condensed milk
    1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
    Extra cocoa for coating

    Recipe



    Melt butter in a heavy sauce pan over low heat; stir in 3/4 cup cocoa.

    Gradually add condensed milk, stirring constantly, until smooth.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. (about 3 minutes) Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.

    Pour mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan.

    Cover and chill 3 hours or until firm.

    Shape mixture into 1 1/4 inch balls. Roll in additional cocoa. Place balls in miniature paper baking cups.

    Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

    Makes about 3 dozen.
