    Chewy Maple Coconut Cookies

    1/2 cup shortening
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 cup pure maple syrup
    1 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup coconut & 1 cup nuts chopped up

    Recipe



    Mix together.

    Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake @ 375º 10 minutes. Don't over bake.
