    Meringue: Mini Morsel Meringue Cookies

    • 4 large egg whites
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    • 2 cups (12 0z. package) Nestle Toll House semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease baking sheets.

    2. Beat eggs whites, salt and cream of tartar in small mixing bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beat until stiff peaks form.

    3. Gently fold in morsels, 1/3 cup at a time.

    4. Drop by level tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets.

    5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until meringues are dry and crisp. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Store in airtight containers.
