Recipe Introduction


" Spicy Butter Cookies are great with coffee or tea throughout the year. This cookie is easily shaped by rolling the dough into balls, then flattening with a fork before baking."



List of Ingredients




1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
dash salt
1 egg
1 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Nutmeg
2 cups all-purpose flour


Recipe



1 Beat together butter, sugar, salt, egg, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in flour. Chill 60 minutes.

2 Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on baking sheet. Flatten with fork.

3 Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Store in airtight container.
