    Apple Royale Dessert

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    5 c. pared apples
    1/2 c. nuts

    Recipe

    Sift dry ingredients. Cream sugar with shortening; add eggs.

    Add apples. Grease and flour bottom only of 13x9 pan.


    Pour batter in (mostly apples but bakes to a cake.

    Sprinkle extra cinnamon and sugar on top.


    Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes.
