    Peaches in Lemon Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 lb. Matthews' fresh sliced peaches
    1/2 c. syrup from peaches
    1 egg
    2 tablespoons lemonade concentrate
    1 3 oz. package cream cheese
    1 tablespoon sugar
    dash of salt

    Recipe



    Drain syrup from fruit. Spoon fruit into individual dessert dishes. Beat egg on top of double boiler. Add lemonade concentrate (don't add water), syrup, sugar and salt. Beat well. Place over boiling water. Cook 'til thick and smooth, stirring occasionally, about 6-8 minutes. Add cream cheese. Beat with a rotary mixer until smooth. Serve warm or cool over peach slices. Accompany with a crisp cookie if desired. Makes 6 servings.
