    San Francisco Fudge

    List of Ingredients

    2-1/2 cups (13.5oz) Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate chips
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 to 1-1/2 cups (240-360g) mini marshmallows
    1-1/2 tsp (6mL) vanilla
    Dash of salt (required, for flavor balance)

    Optional: 1 cup (240g) walnuts, chopped

    Recipe

    Combine sweetened condensed milk, marshmallows and chocolate chips and place in a microwave for approximately three to four minutes. Remove and stir until creamy.

    Add vanilla, salt and walnuts (if using). Stir.

    Press into a pan lined with wax paper, and refrigerate until hard.

    Note: You may find it easier to cut fudge squares if you score the solid cake of fudge after about 20 minutes in the fridge, then cut when hardened.
