    Garlic Grilled Shrimp

    List of Ingredients




    3 lbs. shrimp or prawns, 21-25 count or larger, peeled and deveined
    Skewers
    Salt, pepper, granulated garlic
    1 cup melted butter
    Lemon wedges, if desired


    Recipe



    Thread both ends of the shrimp onto skewers through the back (deveined area) of the shrimp, forming a "C". Lightly season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Cook over a medium-hot grill for about three minutes each side, just until hot, firm and pink. Do not overcook. (You may need to adjust the cooking time for larger prawns.)

    Baste each side with melted butter shortly before they are finished cooking.

    Garlic Grilled Shrimp is delicious as is, with lemon wedges, or, if you desire, with Dipping Sauce*.


    Serves 8-12.


    * Seafood Dipping Sauce Recipe

    This sauce pairs perfectly with seafood or any vegetable.

    3/4 cup mayonnaise
    3/4 cup catsup
    1 teaspoon garlic granules


    Whisk together all ingredients until well combined. Serve chilled. This sauce may be prepared as much as 3 days in advance. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
