"Found this years ago and have yet to find another
vanilla ice cream recipe that our family likes
better. Anytime we have an ice cream social at
church I get requests for this recipe. It is easy
to make." - Linda



List of Ingredients




4 eggs
7 cups milk
2 1/2 tbsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups whipping cream
1/2 tsp. salt



Recipe



Beat eggs 'til light. Add sugar gradually, beating
until thick. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Freeze in 5-qt ice cram freezer.



YIELD: Makes 1 gallon.


NOTE: I have used eggbeaters with this since the
eggs are not cooked and it comes out the same.
