    Your garden reaping too much basil? Don’t know what to do with it? Serve atop pasta with seasoned ground turkey and sweet peas.
    1 pound of your favorite pasta, cooked & drained

    1 pound ground lean turkey
    1 package onion soup mix
    ¼ cup mayonnaise

    Combine turkey, soup mix and mayo. Cook in a fry
    pan over medium high heat until browned and crumbly.
    Add:

    1 16-ounce package frozen sweet peas

    Combine peas and turkey, reduce heat to low.
    Cook as we do the sauce, stirring occasionaly.
    Remove from heat before peas loose their color.

    For the sauce, remember 2’s.
    2 tablespoons butter
    2 tablespoons flour
    2 cups milk
    2 ounces Romano cheese, freshly grated
    2 handfuls chopped, fresh basil

    Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
    Stir in flour and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
    Add milk. Continue to cook, stirring frequently
    until sauce slowly comes to a boil.
    Add cheese and tons of basil.
    Reduce heat. Cook 2 minutes.
    Salt and pepper to your taste.

    Serve pasta topped with the ground turkey and sauce.
    Decorate plate with whole basil leaves.
