Crust: Vinegar Egg Pie Crust

1 egg
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups vegetable shortening or 1 cup lard
1 Tablespoon vinegar
5 Tablespoons cold water
Recipe
Mix the salt and flour, cut in shortening until the size of a pea.
Beat the egg, vinegar and water together with a fork. Add gradually to flour mixture.
Bake in pie shells in 400 degrees Fahrenheit oven.
Makes three shells.
