    BBQ: North Carolina Spicy Moppin' Sauce

    Recipe Introduction

    Apply the sauce to your basic rib recipe.

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups apple cider vinegar
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
    2 serrano peppers, thinly sliced
    2 teaspoons salt
    1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper

    Recipe

    Combine all ingredients into a bowl. Separate into to equal parts. Pour one half of the sauce over ribs (or meat) just before allowing meat to rest. Use second half of sauce to mop over meat during grilling.
