    CONEY ISLAND SAUCE

    1/2 pound ground beef, browned & drained
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 TBL shortening
    1 clove garlic, shredded
    1/2 cup water
    1/8 tsp red pepper
    2 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp paprika
    1/4 tsp dry mustard
    1 TBL vinegar
    1 small can tomato sauce

    Mix together & simmer unit thick.
