I love corn chowder on a cold wintery day. Here's a very easy and delicious recipe.

List of Ingredients

1 pound bacon (or diced ham)
3/4 cup diced potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1 (No. 2) can creamed corn
1/8 teaspoon pepper



Recipe

Fry bacon and drain well (dice precooked ham). Sauté onion. Cook potatoes with just enough water to cover, about 10 minutes, until tender. Drain; add remaining ingredients and simmer until thickened.
