List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lb Beef roast
1 tb to 2 oil
1 Onion; chopped
1 lb Carrots; sliced
3 Ribs celery; chopped
4 Tomatoes; peeled & wedged
1 tb Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
1 ts Dill seed
1 tb Chopped fresh parsley
2 lb Cabage; shredded
1 lb Sauerkraut; rinse & drain
1 Clove garlic; minced
2 ts Butter
Recipe
Brown meat in oil. Add onions, carrots, celery,
tomatoes, salt, pepper, dill seed, parsley and
water to cover. Cover, cook about 2 hours.
Sauté cabbage, sauerkraut and garlic in butter
until cabbage wilts; add to meat. Simmer, covered,
another 1 1/2 hours. Cut meat into bite sized
pieces; return to pot and heat through.
