    Basmati Rice with Vegies

    List of Ingredients




    • 1 cup Basmati Rice
    • 2 cups water or vegetable broth
    • ¼ juiced lime
    • ¼ c scissor cut basil

    • 12 stalks of asparagus
    • 12 stalks of broccoli
    • 2 T Avocado Oil
    • 2 T crushed almonds

    Recipe



    Cut asparagus and broccoli into 1 inch pieces set aside.

    Bring rice and liquid to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

    Add vegetables, avocado oil (or extra virgin olive oil) and crushed almonds by stirring into the rice, COVER, remove from heat, and set aside.
