    Spinach Dip


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
    • 1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 (6 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    • 4 to 5 green onion, chopped
    • 1 (1 5/8 ounce) package vegetable soup mix
    • 1 (1 pound) round loaf Hawaiian bread


    Instructions


    1. Combine spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, water chestnuts, green onions, and soup mix in a medium mixing bowl, stirring well. Cover and chill at least 6 hours.
    2. Using a gentle sawing motion, cut vertically to, but not through, bottom of loaf, 1/2 inch from edge.
    3. Lift out center of loaf; cut bread into 1-inch cubes, and set aside. Fill hollowed bread loaf with dip; serve with bread cubes. Yield 3 cups.
