Pie- Chocolatetown Pie
List of Ingredients
- 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract or 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
- Prepare pastry shell; set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In small mixer bowl cream butter; add eggs and vanilla or bourbon.
- Combine sugar and flour; add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; pour into unbaked pastry shell.
- Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden. Cool about 1 hour; serve warm. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
