    Drop- Pecan Drops

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup margarine or butter
    2 cups sifted powdered sugar
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/3 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
    Sugar
    48 pecan halves

    Recipe

    -Beat margarine or butter in a small bowl with an electric mixer on medium to high speed about 30 seconds or till softened. Add powdered sugar, about half the flour, half the milk, and the vanilla. Beat till thoroughly combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.

    -Beat or stir in remaining flour and milk. Stir in chopped pecans.

    -Drop the dough from a rounded teaspoon 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle each cookie with sugar. Lightly press a pecan half in the center of each.
    -Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till edges are slightly golden. Remove cookies and cool on a wire rack. Makes about 48
