    Cheesy Garlic-Stuffed Bread

    Great on an appetizer table

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 ( 8 ounce ) package cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup ( 4 ounces ) shredded Swiss cheese
    • 1 cup fresh parsley sprigs
    • 2 to 4 cloves garlic, peeled
    • 1 ( 20-ounce ) large round loaf bread, unsliced

    Instructions

    1. In food processor, using knife blade; combine cream cheese, Swiss cheese, fresh parsley, and garlic. Process until smooth paste, stop once or twice to scrape down side of bowl. Set cheese mixture aside.
    2. Slice off top half of bread; set top to side. Hollow out bottom half of bread; leaving a 1 -inch shell and removing inside bread in big pieces.
    3. Cut inside bread pieces into 1-inch cubes, place on a large baking sheet.
    4. Bake bread cubes for 12 minutes in a preheated 350 degree F oven (cubes should be lightly brown); set aside.
    5. Spoon cheese mixture into center of bread shell, and replace top. Wrap filled loaf in heavy-duty aluminum foil, crimping and folding edges to seal well. Place wrapped loaf on baking sheet.
    6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve with toasted bread cubes. About 8 servings (or more at an appetizer party).
